Quick Answer: 35 achievements. Most are counters that accumulate while you run the tavern β gold earned, beers tapped, ambient level, taverns owned β so they need no planning, just time. The real completion gates are three: owning every tavern in town (2.8%), finishing the game (4.3%), and the three special reservations (Wedding 11.3%, Round Table 5.2%, Coven 4.0%). Five achievements ship with no description at all, so their conditions are undocumented β they are listed below so you at least know what is missing.
Version note: Unlock rates captured from Steam on August 15, 2026, cross-checked against both the achievement stats page and the global percentage API. Five achievements have blank descriptions on Steam; we have not invented conditions for them.

The Threshold Ladders
Three families of achievements are pure counters. Knowing the full ladder stops you from thinking you've finished a track when you haven't:
Gold earned (cumulative):
| Rate | Achievement | Target |
|---|---|---|
| 33.7% | Shiny Beginnings | 5,000 gold |
| 15.9% | Well-Filled Pockets | 10,000 gold |
| 11.9% | Tavern Tycoon | 15,000 gold |
| 9.4% | Golden Influence | 20,000 gold |
| 6.8% | Vault Guardian | 30,000 gold |
| 6.2% | King of Coin | 50,000 gold |
Beers tapped: It's tapped (89.7%, first beer) β Tapping Pro (63.7%, 100) β Tapping Master (21.8%, 500) β Tapping Legend (8.1%, 1,000).
Ambient level: Warm Welcome (43.4%, level 50) β Master of Atmosphere (33.6%, level 100) β Patrons' Paradise (25.5%, level 150).
Taverns owned: First Tavern (94.1%) β Double Tap (20.0%, two) β Ale Empire (5.4%, three) β Tavern Legend (2.8%, all taverns in town).
The gold ladder is the one worth watching. The drop from 5,000 to 10,000 gold halves the population β that gap is where most players stop, not where the game gets hard. Money mechanics are covered in How to Make Money.
The Three Special Reservations
These are the closest thing to content achievements, and they thin out fast:
- A good Wedding (11.3%) β finish a wedding reservation
- A Knighty Night (5.2%) β finish a Round Table reservation
- A magic Coven (4.0%) β finish a Coven reservation
Reservations are scheduled events rather than something you grind, so treat these as a checklist to keep an eye out for rather than a target you can force.
The Five Undocumented Ones
Steam shows no description for these, so nobody can tell you the condition from the achievement list alone:
| Rate | Achievement |
|---|---|
| 64.4% | Burp on it! |
| 28.6% | The Blacksmith's Wife |
| 22.3% | What The ... ? |
| 13.0% | Home-brewed |
| 6.8% | Sharpshooter |
Burp on it! at 64.4% is worth noting β two thirds of players have it, so whatever triggers it happens on the normal path rather than requiring a secret. Home-brewed at 13.0% likely relates to the fermentation barrel, given First brewed beer sits at 9.4% and names it explicitly, but we have not confirmed that and are not going to guess the rest.

What Completion Actually Needs
Everything except the five undocumented ones falls into two buckets, and only one of them costs you anything:
- Counters resolve themselves. Gold, taps, ambient level and the first two tavern purchases all arrive if you keep the tavern running. Do not build routes around them.
- The expensive tail is expansion. Ale Empire (three taverns, 5.4%) and Tavern Legend (all taverns, 2.8%) are the actual grind, and both are purchases. Since V1.0.7 multiple taverns can run at once with a performance warning, and workers can be moved between them β the practical constraint is capital and staffing, not unlock gating. See Workers Guide.
One honest note on the ordering: finishing the game (4.3%) is more common than owning every tavern (2.8%). Completion here is an economy project that outlasts the story.
